I've been really busy drowning in assessments at uni this last term, but...

I'm now open to commissions!

I'm studying Prosthetics & Orthotics (artificial arms & legs, braces, callipers, splints, etc.) and it's tradition for the 3rd years to go on a summer trip where we visit local prosthetic and orthotic clinics. Due to course changes, we're not going until 4th year, but we've decided we want to go to Thailand, where we plan to visit the new prosthetic & orthotic school and travel around to visit different clinics around the area. We've started fundraising, and I'm taking commissions for pencil or watercolour portraits (humans or pets, or I'd even consider your house or other photo you want painted!) All portraits done from photos.

Standard watercolour (about 29 x 39cm) £100
Small watercolour (about 23 x 30cm) £80

A4 pencil £70
A3 pencil £90

Watercolour prices include a simple colour backdrop as seen in most of my paintings. More complex background (eg. Pentland's portrait) will be an extra £25.

Prices are in UK £ sterling.

Prices do not include shipping or frames etc. If you happen to live in the central area of Scotland, I may be able to deliver the portrait to you, in which case I would also be happy to frame it ~ send me a message for details.

Small watercolours are only available for single head shots of one person or animal ~ if you want a small painting, message me and I can advise you on what's possible!

I'll take £5 from each portrait to cover costs (materials, photo paper & printer ink for reference photos, etc.) and the rest goes into the trip fund.

If anyone is interested, just send me a message. It may take several weeks for me to complete a portrait as I haven't finished uni for Christmas yet, and would never risk ruining a portrait by rushing it!
